Training

To All Staff,

Mission Steel Fabrication is a close-knit facility in which everyone is valued and respected. As a demonstration to our commitment to create a safe learning and working environment for all members of our facility we ask all employees to participate in an online program designed to help each of us learn more about how to prevent harassment and discrimination.  In its employment practices, Mission Steel Fabrication does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, gender, religion, age, marital status, national origin, disability, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local laws.” Diversity enriches our community and enhances intellectual and personal growth. By sustaining a diverse facility, we strive to ensure that all individuals are valued, and respected and that intellectual and personal growth are enriched because of our differences.” Thank you for taking the time to complete this program and helping to build awareness and knowledge of the issues of discrimination and workplace harassment.

All employees must complete the appropriate sexual harassment training by June 11th, 2021.  The training sessions are 1-hour long for non-supervisors. Employees are to complete the training outside of their regular shift and will be compensated for their time (70min for non-supervisors & 130min for supervisors). Employees must submit a physical or digital copy of their certificate, showing proof that they have completed the training before being compensated. If an employee does not have a way to access and complete the test outside of the office, then we will accommodate them with a pc to take the training before or after their regular shift.
